Chevrolet is road worthy

Well as i told you on my last blog, http://pilotmansteve1989.blogspot.com/
I got a chevy S10. Right now we have it running. We got registered today and tomorrow will be my first time driving it to school. I was able to sell my Honda for a decent Price. Which is a big answer to prayer because i didn't have to buy a new liscense plate and was able to pay off half of my debt. Within Half an hour i the car. :):):)
But now starts the weeks of checking the engine carefully to make sure that it runs properly. I took it for a drive today and i am already in love with it. Growing overseas you grow up around bigger cars and truck(Prado's, Landcruiser, Patrols, etc) so getting a truck is a dream come true even though i had to give up HENRY (my honda).
The truck doesn't have a cd players so in a few day we are going to try to get behind the dash and hook the wires up with a player (when i get my paycheck.

What do you think the new name of my truck should be(look and the pics and decide):

Gus
Mater (from Cars)
Troy
Ben

This has been and good week we had monday off and tomorrow i start school late. Awesome. But now starts the routine of school everyday.
On top of it i don't think i did to well on my first US History test. :(:(
Well write back and tell me what is up with you guys.

CHEVROLET S10 PICKUP

Hey everyone. I would like to apologize for not writing it like four months. With trying to do school and work and then relax some things just squeeze right past the list of things to do.
The last time i wrote i informed you that i had got a Honda Accord. Well since then my dad and i have been talking and we came to the agreement that we should get a car that is newer so that it will last longer for me and that we should try to get one with an airbag. As we talked and as i prayed we came different cars but we finally about a week ago came across a 1995 Chevrolet S10 Regular 2dr Pickup. It has 5spd Manual transmission which was thing that i really wanted if i was going to give my Honda.
Since i grew up oversease I have always liked trucks and so being able to get a pickup is going to be nice. We went over yesterday to the man (my dad had already looked at the truck) where i saw it the first time. I love it. Its just so awesome.
So we drove it home. Oh i didn't tell you but it also smokes like my Honda did but my Dad thinks he know exactly what it is if not we will just keep working and try to fix. I think God has given me a cheap truck that will last a few years. Hopefully till i am done college.
So today i put stickers on my car that says its for sale. So pray that the car will sell. Eversince we fixed stuff it has kept running so hopefully someone will want to purchase a beater car.
Here are some pics of the S10:

Well Later

Sorry for not writing in a long time. I know I know there is no excuse but i have been pretty busy working three school nights a week and then a saturday so i don't have a ton of time but i guess I should try to do better.
So let me see what is happening with me. I have finally paid my car off now comes the monthly insurance bill but becuase it is such an old car it is only like 40 dollars a month combined with a 30-35 dollar gas bill a month it isn't a bad deal.
here are some pics:
Pretty sweet.

I just put the dolphins things on becuase i wanted to spice it up with my favorite NFL teams' logo. I got a key chain, liscense plate, liscense plate cover, and a decal and fan wave all for 28 with shipping. Pretty cool.

Otherwise nothing much has changed. Thanks. i will write back soon

JOHN and those of you who like to sleep will sympathize with me. Of course we are like the last ones off the bus meaning school gets out at 3:20 but if i ride the bus i don't get home till about 4:30. So very nice to drive.

Bad News, Bad New, And Finally Some Good News

Well which do you want to hear first. I will start off with the two things that are bad news. Okay well for one we got word on Saturday morning, which was the 4th of August 2006, that my Uncle Richard died. We don't know much but we found out when we got back that he had gotten into drugs a few years back and maybe that has something to do with it. So on Sunday at around 8 or 9 we are leaving for Florida to go to the funeral so we will miss school Monday and Tuesday. Now I know what you are thinking. GREAT STEVE NO SCHOOL. HOLD IS SKIPPEE. at out school makeup work had to completed within a certain and i don't wan to make up a test but hey. Hopefully there won't be any. We should get back by Tuesday evening. If you guys could pray for us and my family especially my mom, brothers, and grandparent and Aunts as we got through this.

So that news wasn't too good and on top of it we were starting school that week so that was the second thing.

NOW DOES ANYONE NEED A LAUGH...........I KNOW I DO

HERE:

+ Looking at an optical mouse, an idiot said,"Look! They are making everything solar these days."

+ They say that when a man holds a woman’s hand before marriage is love; after marriage is self-defense.

+ A wealthy and very well dressed financial consultant arrived at his office to fill out his report for the company he was working for. The dapper, extremely confident and very dignified gentleman left his Porsche with the parking attendant and entered wearing the building wearing his designer business suit. His shoes clicked along the polished floor as he headed for the elevator. He picked up the paperwork, and strutted into his well-furnished office, put down his fifteen hundred dollar briefcase and sat down at his desk. He stared at the questions for five minutes, and shook his head in disbelief. He looked again, and his shoulders dropped. "I know I have no choice, but this is an OUTRAGE!" he said out loud. Then with a sigh of embarrassment, he reached down, untied and pulled his feet out of his highly polished $800 Brooks Brothers cap toe dress shoes and then peeled off his black silk business socks as well. The now barefoot consultant then stuffed the socks in the shiny, expensive shoes and dropped them in the garbage can. A few minutes later, he shook his head again with frustration, slowly untied his $150 Hermes silk necktie, plucked the matching pocket square out of his suit pocket, unfastened his monogrammed gold cufflinks, and slid his Rolex off his wrist. He threw them in to the garbage as well. His silver tiepin and his paisley braces followed. A moment later, the consultant dropped his head into his hands and groaned. No longer confident and dignified, he looked around furtively. Then he angrily shrugged and stood up. He then stripped off his $2,000 navy blue pinstriped Armani business suit and his starched white shirt, and folded them before stuffing them in the garbage as well. The consultant finally sat down in his underwear and finished his work. A colleague came in, looked around, saw the stripped consultant and his expensive clothes piled in the garbage and was stunned. “Why did you do this?” he asked in bewilderment. The formerly well-dressed and impeccably groomed consultant angrily and wearily picked up the paperwork. “Why didn’t you warn me about this? It says right here: Instructions MUST be followed exactly! ALL questions MUST be answered in brief!”

Mr. Fume is Registered

Well on Monday we finally got the papers we needed to register the car after weeks of trying to sort out a problem with the title of the car. Finally we were told that we had all that we needed and went and paid taxis and got a plate like this one..........................

So we can now I am able to drive the car. Its wierd that in South Carolina you have a choice between two liscense plate the In God We Trust on the right or this one..............

But I wanted the one above which is cool that you don't have to pay extra and that you have a choice we haven't ever had that option in any other state because the other plates cost more.

Now i think that I mentioned a smoking problem when I first talked about the car and yes it still smokes but not as bad. We changed a ton of different things which included taking apart a lot of the engine and the carbeuater (i don't think i spelled that right). (sorry girls if you don't understand what i mean)
But today my dad and i took it out and at first it smoked like smoke coming out of one of the big industrial plate with the tall smoke stacks. However after about 5-10 minutes of driving is started to get less and less so that now it smoke while it is idling and starting but when you get up to speed it is not that bad. And since it is an old car it will smoke some but it still could be worked on but right now we aren't going to worry about it so that is my speal..................
I got to drive it today for the first time and it was awesome.

In other news i am out of a job...............for a month because of some remodeling so that kind of stinks but then again i get to get settled in school and then start work and my dad and i are hoping to go to a football during that time so it is cool.

Oh I saw FIREWALL. It was awesome. Well later hope that was a long enough update and i had better get some serious comments for this one or else i will not write again. (I am serious(okay I am joking a tad but everyone and i mean everyone including mathew had better comment at least one time and not just here is your comment. Tell me if you liked it (Mathew) or if you didn't . I SHAPE UP
